The Biological & Biomedical Sciences Program (BBSP) is the unified mechanism by which prospective students apply for graduate study in the biological or biomedical sciences at UNC Chapel Hill.

Program description
BBSP is a one-year program, during which students complete three 10-week lab rotations in any of the 300 affiliated laboratories and 13 participating PhD programs. At the end of the first year, students choose a thesis lab and matriculate into the PhD program and department affiliated with the chosen lab.
